Ron Perry is the CEO and Chairman of Columbia Records.
He is also the former President of SONGS Music Publishing, and was a partner of SONGS since 2004, when that company was founded.
Perry has signed and developed the career of songwriters and artists such as XXXTentacion, Lorde, The Weeknd, Diplo, Major Lazer, Q-Tip, amongst many others.
Ron Perry was 38 when he became Columbia Chairman in January 2018. Perry has several A&R credits, including the 11x Diamond single for Lil Nas X, Old Town Road.
The single ran for 19 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and earned a Grammy award as the Best pop Duo/Group Performance. The single also won the Grammy award for the Music Video of the Year.
