Warner Music Group has launched a new creative hub in Amsterdam to house Warner Music Benelux, Warner Chappell Music Benelux, and Spinnin’ Records.
Dubbed The Amsterdam Music Harbour, WMG says the new hub brings together the three WMG-owned units under one roof for the first time.
“We can’t wait to welcome our artists, songwriters and WMG teams from all around the world to collaborate with us at the Amsterdam Music Harbour so we can do what we do best – enable our artists and songwriters to create amazing new music,” Walboomers continued.
Ewout Swart and Roger De Graaf, Co-Presidents, Spinnin’ Records added: “We’re proud to take prime position in this beautifully converted warehouse in the centre of the city. Amsterdam is one of Europe’s most energetic and vibrant cities, and the opening of the space exemplifies our commitment to remain the largest and most innovative dance label in the world.”

“The new space and its facilities will enable us to offer leading experiences for both the current and future generation of Spinnin’ Records.”
This year, Spinnin’ Records released new music from Alok, Don Diablo, Gabry Ponte, Lucas & Steve, Lum!x, Mike Williams, R3hab, Tiesto, and Timmy Trumpet. The label also started new projects for their artists in the metaverse, reached 30 million subscribers on YouTube, and undertook a global expansion with the establishment of new roles in Beijing, London, and Los Angeles.
Spinnin’ Records, which Warner Music Group acquired in 2017 in a deal worth more than $100 million, partnered with generative artificial intelligence startup Endel recently to create 50 AI-generated wellness albums.
WM Benelux and WCM Benelux have equally made waves over the past year. Atlantic Records Benelux, launched in November 2021, signed local artist Antoon, who became the most-streamed artist in the Dutch charts in 2022. Antoon has recently achieved success with hit singles like Hallo, Hotelschool, Olivia, and Vluchtstrook.
WM Benelux has also inked deals with talent like Lenny Monsou, Roxy Dekker, Sven Cilliers, and Zoë Livay. The company led campaigns for Warner Music’s international acts, including Benson Boone, Burna Boy, Blur, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Kenya Grace, and Teddy Swims.
WCM Benelux has added Dutch writers and producers to its roster, including Brahim Fouradi, Grammy-nominated Reverse, and Unleaded.
