Mushroom Group is a multi-faceted music company based in Australia.
It launched in 1973 via Mushroom Records and Mushroom Music Publishing, founded by Michael Gudinski.
Today, Mushroom Group comprises a collective of independent record labels, such as Liberator Music, Liberation Records, and Bloodlines, in addition to a music publisher (Mushroom Music) and a neighbouring rights company (Good Neighbour).
Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, Mushroom Group also contains two booking agencies (Premier Artists and The Harbour Agency), plus artist management companies (Converge Management and Role Model Artists), as well as in-house merchandise, film & TV content makers, and more.
Mushroom Group also runs offices in Sydney, Australia and Aukland, New Zealand.
The company continues to be led by Michael Gudinski alongside his son, Matt Gudinski.
In May 2019, Mushroom Music, the publishing company, announced the exit of long-time MD, Ian James.
