Adrian Ciepichał has been appointed Managing Director of Warner Music Poland.
He joins the company from e-Muzyka, a digital music aggregator in Poland, and will report to Alfonso Perez-Soto, President, Emerging Markets, Recorded Music, Warner Music Group.
In his new role, Ciepichał succeeds Kinga Siennicka, who left the company earlier this year.
Ciepichał began his career in entertainment as a Key Account Manager and Sales Director at Monolith Video in the 2000s.
He joined Universal Music Poland in 2008 as Head of Digital and moved to music streaming service Tidal in 2013, becoming General Manager for Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2018, he was appointed CEO of e-Muzyka, where he launched a local music streaming service and secured partnerships with international DSPs.
He also launched a service to enable independent artists to directly distribute music and oversaw the company’s overall artist relations activity, says Warner Music.
Warner Music Poland artists on its domestic roster include Baranovski, Dawid Kwiatkowski, Mela Koteluk, Natalia Szroeder, Smolasty and Sylwia. Grzeszczak. The company has owned Poland’s oldest label, Polskie Nagrania, since 2015.
Warner Music Poland also works with Romanian artists Minelli and Roxen, who have attracted fans through its collaboration with Global Records, its local licensee in Bucharest.
