When it comes to another streaming service, however – Spotify – TikTok appears to be forming a fairly cozy relationship.
We learn today (July 13) that Spotify has teamed up with the Bytedance-owned company to offer eligible TikTok users Spotify Premium for free in seven markets.
The offer, available in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland and Turkey, will see eligible TikTok users get either three or four months free Spotify Premium, depending on the market.
The offer is available to eligible users aged 18+ who have not subscribed to Spotify Premium previously.
Those eligible will receive a unique code that will enable them to redeem the Spotify Premium offer.
TikTok users can also find the offer on their mobile via their ‘For You’ and ‘Discover’ Pages, on a profile icon on the ‘Me’ Page, by searching for ‘Spotify’ on TikTok or by clicking on this link from their mobile devices
The partnership is live effective, today (July 13).
