ILUVLIVE is a not for profit company supported by Arts Council England. We run an artist development programme with a maximum of three acts on the programme at any one time.
We also run events and other initiatives that support emerging talent. ILUVLIVE was launched in 2004 and has supported Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, Emeli Sande, Chip, Wretch 32, Ray Blk, Izzy Bizu, Little Simz, Ms Banks, Kojey Radical, Ella Mai, Tom Grennan, Shakka and Mahalia to name but a few.
We are seeking a self-starter to lead on all of our programme strands, including Artist Development, Events and SELECTS. Being a small company managing many different strands, the applicant should be well versed in adapting themselves within multiple tasks which require varying skillsets.
A good understanding of the artist release process and marketing campaigns alongside technical knowledge for digital aspects, the successful candidate will be an outstanding, tech-savvy marketeer and passionate about the music we support.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Overseeing artist development programme, including announcements and rollout -This includes
- Monthly meetings with artists on the programme to strategise, set plans and ensure smooth rollout of releases creating maximum impact
- Liaising with partners
- Working with third parties where applicable (PR, Radio pluggers, Digital, creative etc.)
- Overseeing events, including announcements and digital rollout – This includes
- Liaising with the team on bookings
- Negotiating deals with venues
- Creating a dynamic and exciting event programme
- Form original and creative ideas in order to get iluvlive and the artists we work with noticed
- Seeking and liaising with partners
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest marketing trends, platform developments and social trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of our work
- Budgeting and keeping accounts up to date
- Liaise with our digital manager on social media accounts for iluvlive, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, and Spotify for Artists to ensure we grow audiences and followers and maximise engagement with these fanbases
- Maintaining: Website updates, Database management, Paying invoices
- Report to the board at quarterly board meetings
- Managing the programme assistant and undertaking evaluations
The Ideal Candidate
- Ideally, at least 3+ years of prior experience at a record label or in a marketing role within the music industry
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing tools, including advertising platforms, social media and data analytics
- Dedicated, dependable team player with excellent communication skills
- Great presentational skills to convey information and results clearly
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Keen interest and thorough understanding of the current musical & cultural landscape
- An Idiosyncratic creative vision and a desire to seek fresh approaches

Salary – £30-£35K depending on experience working 5 days a week 10 -6 pm. We currently work two days remotely and three days per week at our office in Pop Brixton.
