Warner Music India (WM India) has struck a strategic partnership with Indian pop star Armaan Malik to launch a new label.
The label, called Always Music Global, will be dedicated to homegrown talent, according to Warner.
As part of the partnership, Always Music Global will also release Armaan Malik’s Hindi non-film music
Malik has been named as ‘Bollywood’s prince of romance’, and is the youngest Indian-origin artist to perform at Wembley Stadium’s SSE Arena.
Malik’s deal with WM India is the latest move for WM India under the direction of Jay Mehta, Managing Director, Warner Music India-SAARC.
Jay Mehta took on the role in March 2020, when WM India was launched.
In September 2021, the company inked an exclusive strategic partnership with digital entertainment and technology company JetSynthesys.
