Ninja Tune is a UK-based independent label that was founded in 1990 by Coldcut – the artist duo of Matt Black and Jonathan More.
The company’s long-time Managing Director, Peter Quicke, joined the firm two years later.
Ninja Tune artists include the likes of The Cinematic Orchestra, DJ Food, The Heavy, Fink, Lou Rhodes, Kate Tempest, Roots Manuva, Young Fathers and Mr. Scruff.
The company has offices in London, Los Angeles and Montreal and acts as an umbrella for imprints such as the Flying Lotus-founded Brainfeeder, and Werkdiscs, founded by Actress.

According to filings with UK Companies House, Ninja Tune Holdings Ltd generated £12.98 million in the calendar year of 2019.
This was down slightly on the £13.39 million the company generated in 2018.
