AI-powered marketing platform SymphonyOS has teamed up with UnitedMasters, which operates a software and services platform for indie artists, to provide automated music marketing tools to artists.
The collaboration seeks to enhance music exposure and expand fan bases for artists who have joined UnitedMasters’ ‘SELECT’ tier by executing marketing campaigns to increase their streams and grow sales using tools by SymphonyOS.
The partnership will also offer real-time recommendations available through the UnitedMasters app, the companies said in a joint press release on Tuesday (September 26).
SymphonyOS’s AI technology helps generate and execute complete custom release strategies, incorporating individual artist objectives and industry best practices.
Target demographics, specific channels, and recommended release schedules are also factored in. SymphonyOS also provides transparent visualizations to offer valuable insights and track content performance, allowing artists to gain a deeper understanding of their fan base, the companies said.
“With our SymphonyOS partnership, UnitedMasters Select artists can further let tech do the heavy-lifting, so they can maximize their time creating music and doing what they love.”

“Our focus is to empower independent artists to reach their full potential. A key part of that includes promotion, but executing an effective marketing campaign is getting more complex and time-consuming,” said Catherine Zielinski, Head of Strategic Partnerships from UnitedMasters.
“With our SymphonyOS partnership, UnitedMasters Select artists can further let tech do the heavy-lifting, so they can maximize their time creating music and doing what they love,” Zielinski added.
Megh Vakharia, Co-founder and CEO of SymphonyOS, added: “We recognize that UnitedMasters has built an amazing team and amazing resources for their millions of artists.”
“We’re excited for them to be our first partners as we look to bring our technology to creatives everywhere who are looking to grow,” Vakharia continued.
SymphonyOS and UnitedMasters say they share a common goal of allowing musicians to free from the burdensome tasks of promoting their music to give them more time to their craft.
SymphonyOS, which its founders say took six years to develop, emerged from Integral Studio, founded by Chuka Chase and Megh Vakharia in 2016. Initially a web agency serving artists like SZA and Travis Scott, Integral Studio evolved to offer merchandise and digital marketing services.
In 2022, SymphonyOS launched its beta version, providing a marketing platform designed to automate fan base expansion.
Nearly a month ago, SymphonyOS closed a $1 million pre-seed fundraising round from strategic investors from the music and tech sectors including Spice Capital, GoldHouse Ventures, LVRN Records, and Guin Records.
For UnitedMasters, the partnership marks its latest offering to musicians after launching its own beat marketplace last year.
The company, founded by Steve Stoute in 2017, raised $50 million in October 2021, valuing the company at $550 million. UnitedMasters has existing partnerships with Snapchat and Coinbase. The company’s backers include Apple, Alphabet and Andreessen Horowitz.
