PhD, MBA, JD or other post-baccalaureate degree is required. Background in music business or in the music industry and creative professions is required.
Required: At least one year of experience teaching at the college, university, or professional training level in music technology and/or music production, and a bachelor's degree in music or related field
The successful candidate will have expertise and teaching experience in two or more of the following: music industries, music in contemporary creative industries, music entrepreneurship, and/or career skills applicable to a wide range of jobs in creative industries
Required: Master’s degree at time of appointment in music, music industry, or related fields of study. Two or more years of professional experience in music or in music industry (e.g., marketing, A&R, music supervision, business and legal affairs, royalty administration or production).
Required: A doctoral degree in music, business, law, digital media, music technology or a closely related field conferred by the time the position starts. A demonstrated commitment to excellence in research as exemplified by scholarly publications and public speaking.
Required: Possession of terminal degree (such as MBA, JD, PhD, or MFA) or professionally recognized achievement in the employment of the techniques to be taught.

Required: evidence of, or potential for, excellence in teaching music business through previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level, or the commensurate professional experience in the field.
