Director/Senior Director of Operations
Job Description
- Being responsible for executing top execs’ ideas and initiatives, not limited to the below items. Direction will move day to day
- Overseeing/continuously improving day-to-day operations of Avex USA communicating with each division heads based on the company’s strategic directions
- Building and maintaining structure that promotes internal organization and communication (i.e., weekly company meetings, calls, and daily check-ins with individuals).
- Organizing and planning company sponsored special events
- Developing and executing new growth directives
- Working with Human Resources team to implement and refine company policies and procedures / to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel and oversee employee training programs / to develop and implement staff evaluation parameters
- Liaising with departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide operational compliance
- Keeping track of the company’s revenue margins and conduct budget reviews to maximize profits
- Overseeing Avex USA, SELENE(label), Future of Music(investment fund) brands – making sure the website, Instagram and other social platforms are strategically up to date.
- Must be willing to travel
Requirement
- Bachelor, preferably MBA
- 4+ years of experience in operations and/or business development
- Music industry experience preferable
- Highly organized business management skills
- High level logical thinking ability
- High level communication skills in verbal and writing
- Detail oriented
