Sony Music Publishing has appointed Robin Nastri to the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Global Business Office.
Nastri will report directly to Sony Music Publishing’s Chief Financial Officer, Tom Kelly. According to SMP, the exec will oversee the company’s “global transformation initiatives to streamline operations, enhance technology, and optimize processes”.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Nastri brings a wealth of expertise in strategy consulting. At Accenture, she collaborated with a number of Fortune 100 companies, leading initiatives on a global scale.
Nastri led Accenture’s west portfolio for Intelligent Automation and holds a patent for Accenture’s award-winning automation platform. She and her team were recognized as Accenture’s 2019 Inventor of the Year.

The development marks Sony Music Publishing’s latest appointment after promoting Andrew Spence earlier this year to General Counsel at Sony Music Publishing UK and Michèle Hamelink to Managing Director of Benelux in November 2022.
Elsewhere at Sony Music Publishing, the company recently renewed its long-standing agreement with Grammy award-winning producer and songwriter, Michel “Lindgren” Sculz. The deal sets the stage for a new partnership with hitmaker and OneRepublic lead singer, Ryan Tedder.
Last month, APM Music, jointly owned by Sony Music Publishing and Universal Music Publishing Group, teamed up with music technology startup Incantio to enhance the music discovery process.
And in August, Sony Music Publishing formed a global publishing deal with India-based record label Big Bang Music.
