SoundCloud has teamed up with Israel-based music marketing platform Feature.fm to provide independent artists with marketing tools and resources as they launch their careers.

Feature.fm‘s services include shareable and trackable pre-save and smart links, campaign and artist landing pages, real time-analytics, and a self-serve ad platform, among others.

The company claims that it created more than 1 million links for 300,000 artists last year.

The partnership with SoundCloud, which will kick off in May, includes perks and discounts from Feature.fm. SoundCloud’s highest ‘Next Pro’ tier of artists can take advantage of a free plan and free ad credits.

Feature.fm will provide SoundCloud artists with marketing, advertising, analytics and CRM tools.

“With SoundCloud’s reputation as one of the most artist-friendly platforms in the industry, this partnership is a natural fit for Feature.fm’s mission and dedication to empower artists.”

In addition, Feature.fm will also roll out a new entry-level pricing plan that will be available exclusively to all SoundCloud artists for the first 90 days.

This pricing plan, in addition to free ad credits, is free to all of SoundCloud’s Next Pro Artists.

SoundCloud will also provide discounted pricing on Feature.fm for its Next members.

Indie artists on SoundCloud can unlock these offers and discounts by connecting their SoundCloud account to Feature.fm. Additional details on the curated benefits and discounts can be viewed on users’ SoundCloud for Artists account.

“We are thrilled to join forces with SoundCloud to bring professional marketing tools to independent artists, making their journey to success even more accessible,” said Lior Aharoni, CEO & Co-Founder, Feature.fm.

“With SoundCloud’s reputation as one of the most artist-friendly platforms in the industry, this partnership is a natural fit for Feature.fm’s mission and dedication to empower artists.”

Aharoni continued: “By leveraging SoundCloud’s massive reach, we can expand our message and support the growth of even more artists in need. We’re excited about the possibilities ahead and the commitment to help more artists reach their full potential.”

The partnership with SoundCloud comes as Feature.fm aims to support “any artist of any size find their fans to build a sustainable career in music,” Aharoni said last month.

The platform’s streaming partners include Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Deezer and more, while its clients now include TikTok’s SoundOn and independent distributors and labels like Ditto Music, Create Music Group, oneRPM, Secretly Group, Empire, The Orchard, AWAL, Epitaph/Anti-, Beggars Music Group and 300 Entertainment.

Feature.fm recently partnered with YouTube Music to include various integrations including the ability for artists to track the number of streams from both YouTube Music and YouTube that came from a Feature.fm Smart Link.

For SoundCloud, the partnership with Feature.fm will bolster its artist services offerings. The company said two months ago that it is expanding its artist services business globally by entering into a joint venture with Jax Jones’ and Dan Stacey’s UK-based, dance-focused record label, WUGD (What You Gonna Do) Ltd.

“Our latest collaboration with Feature.fm is a testament to our unrelenting commitment to empowering artists by providing them with cutting-edge benefits that streamline their workflow and unleash their artistic potential.”

That deal came a year after SoundCloud launched an artist-signing joint venture with Solid Foundation, the management and creative services arm of QC Media Holdings, which in turn is owned and operated by respected music industry veterans Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas.

“As a platform that puts artists at the forefront, we are dedicated to forging powerful partnerships that deliver tangible value and unwavering support to the SoundCloud community,” Shauna Alexander, VP of Business Development, SoundCloud, said about the deal with Feature.fm.

“Our latest collaboration with Feature.fm is a testament to our unrelenting commitment to empowering artists by providing them with cutting-edge benefits that streamline their workflow and unleash their artistic potential.”
