Independent distributor Symphonic Distribution will be hosting its first Music Industry Sessions in Puerto Rico from February 22-23, 2019.
Music Industry Sessions is a series of events aimed towards artists, producers, and singer-songwriters from the independent music community.
Panelists will include staff members from Pandora, SiriusXM, Latin Alternative Music Conference, StageBoom, and more.
The first event will consist of a VIP event, PRO Music Industry Sessions, for established music industry professionals on Friday, February 22 at the new Santurcia Hotel and Bar.
Following that is the core Music Industry Sessions event on February 23 which will be held at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico.
The panels will feature professionals in digital music services, A&R, marketing companies, music producers, and record label executives.
Speakers confirmed for the event so far include Marcos Juárez, Head Of Latin Music at Pandora; Bryant Pine, Director, Latin Music Programming at Siriusxm and others.
The educational event will be followed with a live music showcase, Symphonic Live, at La Respuesta in Santurce and will feature independent artists like Calma Carmona, Andrea Cruz, Los Walters, Rafa Pabon, and Nutopia.
