First Access Entertainment today announce that it has signed an exclusive worldwide publishing administration agreement with Warner/Chappell Music.
Warner/Chappell will represent First Access’ publishing roster for synchronization in film, TV, advertising, games and other media, as well as provide global copyright administration.
The deal comes 18 months after First Access was born as a joint venture between Sarah Stennett and Len Blavatnik – the owner of Warner Music Group via his Access Industries.
First Access is already set up to feed talent into the recorded side of WMG – where it signed star client Rita Ora to Atlantic Records last year.
Sarah Stennett, CEO & Co-Founder, First Access Entertainment (pictured), said “I’m very much looking forward to working hand-in-hand with the incredible team at Warner/Chappell on developing and maximising the full scope of our artists’ repertoire across a broad range of media and entertainment platforms.”
Included in the deal are songwriters and artists Liam Bailey, Ray Djan and Ashton Foster (PKA Culture X Tones), Dwayne Alo, BB Diamond, Parri$ and Team Salut.
“This partnership maximizes the skills of our two companies, and together we look forward to building long, successful careers for diverse and accomplished songwriters, now and in the future.”
