Spirit B-Unique, the London office of Spirit Music Group, has signed writer and producer Jon Shave to an exclusive music publishing agreement.
Shave is part of the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum songwriting and music production trio The Invisible Men, whose songs have been streamed over 2.5 billion times on Spotify and have sold over 30 million records.
As part of The Invisible Men, Jon Shave has helped create multiple global hits, including: Iggy Azalea’s No.1 US single Fancy (feat. Charli XCX), which was also the seventh best-selling single worldwide in 2014; Iggy Azalea’s million-selling debut single Work; Jonas Blue’s By Your Side (feat. Raye); Sigala’s Say You Do and Just Got Paid; DJ Fresh’s UK No.1 hit Hot Right Now (feat. Rita Ora) and No.3 hit Dibby Dibby Sound (feat. Ms Dynamite).
Other tracks worked on by Shave include Conor Maynard’s debut Top 5 hits Can’t Say No and Vegas Girl; Jessie J’s hits Do It Like A Dude, Laser Light (feat. David Guetta) and Who’s Laughing Now?; and Lil Peep’s albums Come Over When You’re Sober pt. 1 & 2 to name a few.

Since Spirit Music Group established a UK presence in 2016 with the opening of Spirit B-Unique’s London office, Rak Sanghvi alongside Co-Presidents of Spirit B-Unique U.K., Martin Toher and Mark Lewis, made a string of signings and successes including the acquisition of Polar Patrol Publishing which brought Ed Sheeran collaborator and Snow Patrol member Johnny McDaid into the fold.
From there, Spirit’s UK team went from strength to strength with a roster that includes James Bay, Tiggs Da Author, Dagny, Jonny Coffer, John Newman, Jon Maguire, Corey Sanders, Kodaline, J C Stewart and more.
In January Spirit Music Group announced a recapitalization, for which it has secured over $350 million, led by its COO Jon Singer.
In April, Rak Sanghvi was promoted to Global President, Spirit Music Group.
