Peermusic has appointed Alison Dannenberg-Frost as Vice President, Film & TV Creative.
The news was announced on Thursday (September 14) by Kathy Spanberger, President & Chief Operating Officer, peermusic, to whom Dannenberg-Frost will report.
Alison Dannenberg-Frost brings 10+ years’ experience working in Film & TV and most recently served as Head of Sync & Licensing at Glassnote Entertainment Group.
Prior to that, Alison worked in various Film & TV Creative positions at peermusic for eight years. The exec will be based out of peermusic’s Burbank office.
According to Peermusic, in her new role, Alison Dannenberg-Frost will be responsible for placing the copyrights of peermusic songwriters into projects for media, while “leveraging her vast relationships with music supervisors, film & TV studios, trailer houses, production music houses and video game entities”.
During her career, Dannenberg-Frost has placed songs in properties such as the film trailer for Black Panther (Marvel Studios/Walt DisneyStudios); Abominable (DreamWorks); Stranger Things (Netflix); The Boys (Amazon Prime); The Americans (FX); Willow (Disney+); XO Kitty (Netflix); The Summer I Turned Pretty (Amazon Prime); amongst many others.
Dannenberg-Frost has also worked with artists in creating original music for sync, the likes of which have been placed in promos, TV shows, and films across major networks and streaming platforms.
The exec has pitched and placed the music of such iconic music creators such as Sons of Sonix (whose credits include Justin Bieber, Stormzy, and Jennifer Lopez); BJ The Chicago Kid; Molotov; Thee Sinseers; Corey Hart; Malcom McLaren; Beny More; Donovan; Hoagy Carmichael; Jimmie Rodgers; Tito Puente; David Foster and more into major synch projects.
During her time with peermusic, Dannenberg-Frost has also held roles as Director, Film & TV Creative (2021-2022), Film & TV Manager (2018-2021), and Coordinator, Film & TV, Creative (2014-2018).
Prior to joining peermusic in 2014, Dannenberg-Frost worked at Vin Di Bona Productions.
Reporting into Dannenberg-Frost will be Oscar Martinez, Creative Director, Film/TV and Hispanic Advertising; Steve Torres, Creative Manager, Film/TV; and Brendan Ristau, Administrative Coordinator.
