Spain-born independent label services company Altafonte has promoted music industry veteran Álex Schiavo to the role of Chief Artistic Officer, Latin America, US Latin, Portugal & Spain.
Schiavo was previously Altafonte Brazil Managing Director and also previously served as President of Sony Music Brazil for 10 years.
In his new role, Schiavo will be responsible, together with the directors of each country, for the signing of new artists, marketing, content promotion and commercial relationships with digital platforms.
