Michael Gudinski’s Mushroom Music Group has launched a new artist management company in Australia, Role Model Artists.
The operation will be headed up by Gudinski’s son and key Mushroom exec, Matt Gudinski.
According to Role Model’s freshly-launched website, it considers itself “a creative, forward-thinking artist management company”.
Based in Melbourne and Sydney, Role Model’s launch line-up of artists include Bliss N Eso, Eso, Lila Gold, Lurch & Chief, Pearls, Slum Sociable (pictured) and Total Giovanni.
As well as successful label Liberation Music, the independent Mushroom Music Group also includes live music giant Frontier – recently named the third-biggest concert promoter in the world by Billboard.
Its other companies include a live agency (The Harbour Agency), a merchandising operation (Love Police ATM) and a services hub for international labels (Liberator), plus other labels and publishing outfits (I Oh You, Liberation, Ivy League, Illusive and many more).
