ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position will be based in London or Bologna and will form part of the Musixmatch Publishing Team. The team works closely with our music publishing partners and DSP clients such as Apple, Amazon, Spotify, Facebook and others. The position will report directly into our Head of Licensing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research independent publishers globally to identify market shares and targets for licensing.
Develop relationships with publishers and local publishing associations in order to promote the objectives of the company.
Support the drafting and negotiation of various publishing and DSP licensing agreements – taking the lead when appropriate.
Coordinate publishing administration tasks such as logging new deals, managing the recoupment of advances and alerting team on renewals.
Liaise with other team members and departments to ensure information exchange and workflows are maintained.
Keep up-to-date on music industry matters and copyright law.
Be willing and able to travel internationally when required.
WHO YOU ARE:
Knowledge of music publishing and copyright.
Knowledge of licensing landscape.
Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for details.
High level of communication – can communicate clearly and effectively both internally and externally.
Always looking to improve the ordinary way of doing things and not shy of taking risks where needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law or related field.
2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role.
High level of spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of Italian language is an advantage (but not necessary) and any additional language is a bonus.
