Voly Group, the parent company of UK-headquartered Voly Music, has hired Henry Featherstone as its first Head Of Treasury Sales.
Featherstone joins Voly from his previous role in the Corporate Treasury team at global bank Investec.
Voly Music offers music industry clients a specialist financial management platform, with integrated Prepaid Mastercard and FX Payment features.
The company works with artist management companies, live music promoters, tour managers and business managers, amongst other sectors.
Outside of music, the Voly Group works with clients in the yachting space, as well as family offices and agencies.
In his new role, Featherstone is tasked with helping the Voly client base – including music industry clients – to successfully manage their Foreign Exchange exposure.
Ian Flanagan, CEO of Voly said: “I’m absolutely delighted to bring someone like Henry on board, given the treasury background he possesses. With the growth of our platform and the data we can see, foreign exchange has become one of the most relevant topics to our clients.
“Henry will now help each client mitigate their exposure and talk through their options. It is another step in the growth of Voly which will yet again benefit our clients.”
Henry Featherstone said: “I’m very proud to join Ian and the Voly team at such a great time for the business. The ambition Ian, Mary & the team have, as well as the plans being laid will be exciting to be part of, and contribute to.
“I love working in the foreign exchange industry and although this will be a slightly new challenge, there is a surprising amount of crossover in both the Yachting and Music world that I look forward to servicing from our brand-new treasury desk here at Voly.”Music Business Worldwide
