About the Job:

As an Artist Services Representative you’ll provide world class support to independent artists, connecting them to the right resources to maximize the revenue generated from their music. You’ll gain foundational knowledge and industry experience in a multitude of topics such as publishing administration, copyright, sync licensing, and promotional tools to name a few! On top of that, you’ll work in a casual, dedicated, and fun environment with other creatives just like YOU. We are looking for an enthusiastic representative that can support our Latin American artists and will form the new Medellín Artist Services office.

Responsibilities / Tasks:
  • Respond to daily Artist Service requests regarding releases and digital distribution issues from labels, artists and managers.
  • Answer emails and live chats from artists regarding publishing administration, copyright, sync licensing, and promotional tool and MORE.
  • Return Call Back requests from Artists regarding the same topics. No sales, only support for their specific concerns.
  • Zendesk ticketing work for LATAM territories (Spanish, Portuguese) and assist with English artist requests.
  • Answer artists questions regarding their accounts, album/single sign-ups, release timelines, and accounting activity.
  • Accurately complete data entry and enter new prospects/clients into the computer system
  • Support Operations team actions establishing DSPs relationships.
  • Support local efforts to help position CD Baby as market leader.
  • Support brand building and collect artist feedback in assigned local territories.
  • Enter transactions into computer which will generate mailings to prospects/clients
  • Follow proper security guidelines to ensure safety procedures are followed according to company policies
  • Reliability and flexibility – must be on time, have good attendance and efficiency when switching tasks.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
Required Skills:
  • Fluent in English/Portuguese and Spanish
Preferred Skills:
  • Must have excellent communication, language, and verbal skills
  • Experience and demonstrated ability for outstanding customer service support
  • Must have solid professional writing skills
  • Must be professional and friendly in all communication areas
  • Must be attentive to detail and organized
  • Must work well with a small, close-knit team
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Should have a basic working knowledge of all genres of music
  • Must have good computer skills and accurate typing skills of 30-40 wpm minimum
  • Copyright, publishing, and music industry knowledge a plus

  • Educational Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent required
