Position: Director, A&R, EU
Reports to: Director, A&R
Responsibility: Leading A&R Processes and Projects
Location: Hybrid/Remote/Germany
Salary: €45,000 – €55,000 /year
The Director, A&R is a seasoned industry professional with developed experience, knowledge, and skills in A&R. This candidate has a proven track record of successful signings and the ability to lead projects independently. This position requires mentorship of junior team members and effective high level collaboration with various Nettwerk departments.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with A&R leadership on initial signing approval.
- Independently run A&R projects post signing approval.
- Collaborate with other senior A&R team members on projects that might not be solely on your roster.
- Manage relationships and effectively communicate with artists, songwriters, publishers, mixers, mastering engineers, etc.
- Establish a strong network of industry professionals to assist and attract artists / artist managers.
- Act as primary A&R liaison between Nettwerk and the artist and lead projects with internal teams.
- First point of contact for Nettwerk Marketing Managers on signed projects.
- Expectation to further individual knowledge of the musical landscape, Nettwerk systems and overall communication / business skills in order to develop in the role.
- Must sign a minimum of five artists per year.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience working in A&R
- Proven network within the German and/or European Music Industry
- Strong ability to mentor and coach
- Advanced leadership skills
- Advanced understanding of record label contract processes
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced network of industry relationships
