Social Media Manager, Tool Room
Toolroom is on the look out for a digital savvy Social Media Manager to join the expanding marketing team here at Toolroom HQ. As the Social Media Manager at Toolroom, you will be responsible for managing the label’s 1m+ online community. Using your skills and knowledge in content creation, digital marketing, community development and platform management, you will work alongside the label’s busy marketing team to tell the story of the Toolroom brand.
Toolroom turns 20 this year and we pride ourselves on our loyal following and extended family we have garnered across 2 decades. Each artist Toolroom works with is uniquely brilliant in their own right, and treating the music and the artist with the same attention to detail will drive success.
Relevant experience in a similar position for 2-5 years is required for shortlisting for this role. Toolroom is a fast paced (and fun!) working environment and your ability to collaborate with team members and juggle priorities will be key.
The position will be based full time in Toolroom’s HQ in Maidstone, Kent. Working closely with the team and maintaining creative brainstorming will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and engaging social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.
- Manage all Toolroom social media channels, including Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, adapting content to suit different channels.
- Oversee, plan and create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms.
- Utilise analytics platforms to monitor and analyse social media performance, reporting regularly to wider team.
- Collaborate with wider marketing and music teams, to drive new marketing ideas and ensure brand consistency.
- Assist on paid social advertising strategy and execution, working alongside media agency.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging social media platforms.
- Form critical relationships with influencers across the social media platforms.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in social media management within music or creative industries (3+ years).
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, tools and trends.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and music campaigns.
- Familiarity with Adobe creative suite.
- A passion and knowledge of House music and the Toolroom sound.
- Team player and great communication skills.
