Frontiers Records are looking for a skilled person to be included in the Marketing Office in order to take care of the management, monitoring and development of institutional and label-owned social accounts.
Digital Marketing/Social Media Manager – Frontiers Music Srl
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and manage a social media growth and content strategy for label and select artist properties with defined metrics and a detailed roadmap to achieve goals set with label management;
- Facilitate social media activity in line with marketing plans/timelines artist releases on label properties and select artist properties;
- Work closely with marketing team to propose innovative and effective social media and content ideas;
- Manage social media tracking and other insight tools to deliver actionable insights. Set benchmarks for measuring the impact of our social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns;
- Management of the messaging and the contents of the social pages of the label (with, for the moment, particular emphasis on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and our YouTube channel) and select artist properties, including various bands and projects which are owned by the label and that require some messaging and attention when out of an album cycle;
- Create content for various channels (ie. video trailers, Facebook cover photos, Twitter headers, online flyers, etc.)
- Support for all label artists on messaging and content of their web and social properties with particular emphasis on and attention during the period of new release launch and promotion (in connection with the marketing team);
- Develop and execute strategies to develop the label’s consumer email database, as well as facilitate the delivery of a regular newsletter to subscribers;
- Utilizing label distributor’s B2B and other services, track adds of artist singles to playlists across all major streaming platforms and action messaging on social media to promote said playlists;
- Management / data analysis of digital marketing campaigns;
- Stay abreast of new product features on social media platforms and new platforms launching that could be beneficial to the label to use;
Requirements
- Experience in managing social media properties and actioning marketing plans to grow social numbers;
- Editorial experience and/or EXCELLENT copy writing skills;
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their audience (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Hootsuite, etc.);
- Great communication skills (both written and verbal), an ability to respond in a timely fashion;
- Proactive and highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities at once;
- Design abilities (i.e. banner ads, online promotional flyers, social media skins) with some Photoshop experience;
- Knowledge of video creation and editing preferred (ie., creating 15-60 second album trailers);
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, online marketing, and streaming services
- A strong team player;
- Passion for Hard Rock/Metal music and passion for social media and basic knowledge of the label’s catalog/roster
Education & Qualifications
- English language fluent, written and oral, essential
- A Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification/experience is required
- 2 years+ of music industry experience
