Primary Role:

We are seeking a seasoned executive on the west coast for a critical role to join our senior team. This candidate must have strong industry and iconic and legendary artist relations to support our vision as we aggressively acquire and partner new publishing and recording clients.

This all-encompassing role will incorporate a mix of talents that include business development, proactively seeking and securing new catalog opportunities for our roster. Equally, this role will be broad, and may incorporate landing culturally relevant media opportunities for Primary Wave and/or assist our branding and license division on packaging new programs tied to our catalogs.

Additionally, this individual must be passionate, demonstrate leadership and be a team player, high-level thinker, manage criticism and fit within Primary Wave’s DNA to our work across our diverse executive team.  Having a background and connections in the brand and digital space is key, as well as having a sound understanding of how partner programs are formed.

Bring Your Wave – Rockstar marketing minded candidates will have these qualifications/skills:
  • Minimum of 15 years of music industry experience in talent relations, communications or similar with strong ties to artists, managers, lawyers and label executives. 
  • Charming personality, high energy, inclusive of having dynamic verbal and written communication proficiencies.
  • Independent leader and will possess confidence and experience to meet artists and/or their representatives.
  • Network of meaningful and holistic relationships in the industry, media, brand and agency communities.
  • Masterful understanding of Primary Wave’s attributes and a persuasive skillset to attract artists to sign to our growing publishing and music rights catalog.
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Familiarity with the nuances of music IP management.
  • Creative vision and fearless appetite for marketing innovation.
