FUGA, a leading international music distribution company, is looking for a highly motivated Business Affairs Coordinator to join FUGA’s Business Affairs team in Amsterdam, London or Rome. You will report to the Head of Business Affairs and be responsible for assisting in the administration of FUGA’s legal and business affairs department.
What you do
- Manage full contract signing cycle group-wide
- Manage contract administration (including preparing and maintaining deal summaries and filing systems)
- Assist with the administration and upkeep of the Business Affairs database / workflow tracking system
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of contract templates
- Assist with legal research
- Assist with contracts and documents review and proof-reading
- Assist with management of take-down notices and litigation matters
- Assist with making improvements to internal policies and cross-department collaboration / workflows
- Prepare and review NDAs and other simple contracts (such as amendment, extension, termination letters) under supervision
- Support with specific projects for the launch of new products, services and business divisions
- Prepare presentations for the Business Affairs team
- Respond to day-to-day queries from the FUGA team and generally assist the Business Affairs team with FUGA legal and business affairs
Who you are
- A law student or recent graduate with excellent grades / a legal support professional, with a keen interest in commercial and music law (contract management experience is a bonus)
- A proactive team member who is motivated to maximise and improve existing workflows and procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and communication skills
- Exceptional project management skills, with the the ability to work across multiple projects at once and effectively manage priorities
